The project documentary debuted on the 80th anniversary of Day of Remembrance at Bellevue Arts Museum.

Video by Tani Ikeda, Dominic Nieri and Julia Bruk.

Combining history, art, and technology in truly novel ways, Emerging Radiance leverages Spark AR to bring voices of the past into the present, with filters created in collaboration with immersive experience agency Invisible Thread.

Take-home seed packets encouraged the public to extend their relationship with the untold stories of Japanese American farmers, by planting heirloom Asian vegetables in their own gardens and sharing the stories activated by the QR code on each packet.
